The defining feature
of a melancholic attitude is perfectionism. They are idealists who wish for
things to be a certain way, and they get distressed when they are not.
-I totally
agree on this because I am the type of person who don’t settle for anything
less. I always strive to attain perfection that is why I put so much effort to everything
I do so that my outputs would be perfect.
Much of their
introversion comes from their perfectionism. They are picky about the sorts of
people that they associate with; people who meet their standards and share
their outlook. People that won’t make them uncomfortable; they do not wish to
talk to 'anyone and everyone'.
They are very wary of
making friends. Unlike sanguines, it can take them a very long time for them to
consider someone they're familiar with a 'friend', but once they've reached
this point, they will likely stick with that person loyally. They prefer having
a few close friends than to many acquaintances.
-This is absolutely
correct. I prefer to get along with people whom I could have healthy exchange
of thought. I want to be with people who can give me wisdom and whom I can
share my life with.
Melancholics are very
emotional. They are moved deeply by beauty, and by distress. They easily get
hurt because of their perfectionistic tendencies
-I must agree on this.

-I consider myself as “reserved”
type because I only revealed my inmost thoughts to the person whom I can truly trust.

other temperaments that fit my personality.
In choleric temperament - fundamentally
ambitious and leader-like.
-I always show my true
self to the people especially in my workplace. Being open gives me an advantage
to become a good leader in some ways and to gain people’s respect. Even in my
younger years, from elementary up to college, I have been involved in several
organizations. My colleagues chose me as their leader because they believe in
my capacity to lead the organization.
For sanguine temperament- They are usually
quite creative and often daydream.
-I love daydreaming. I
often imagine so many things in my solitude especially things that may happen
in the future. I do a lot of thinking on how to create some stuff to spend my
time productively.
In phlegmatic side - they are consistent,
relaxed, calm, rational, curious, and observant, qualities that make them good
administrators.
- I have these
characteristics sometimes. I am a bit curious on the things that are new to my
sight. I am also very observant in many
ways. Being observant helps me to see both the positive and negative sides of
different things.
